About The Artist

Ryan Hudson is a London based composer known for his distinctive fusion of orchestral and electronic music. He has been mentored by industry leaders including Christopher White (composer/arranger for Van Morrison), Grammy nominated composer Stephen Endelman (De-Lovely, 2004), and Academy Award winner Rachel Portman (Emma, 1996).

Under Portman’s guidance, his music was recorded by the world-renowned London Symphony Orchestra. He has also collaborated extensively with animators and filmmakers from the London Film Academy and UAL's Central Saint Martins, scoring a wide range of short films, animations, and video games.

His works have been performed at leading UK venues including Somerset House where his original arrangements for the newly formed Sonaris Ensemble premiered, Milton Court Concert Hall and the Roundhouse. At the Roundhouse he collaborated with Grammy Award winning artist Corinne Bailey Rae creating orchestral arrangements of tracks from her album Black Rainbows performed live with the Guildhall Session Orchestra (GSO). Beyond live performance, his close relationship with the GSO has seen many of his concert works professionally recorded in Milton Court Concert Hall.
